Welcome to Optimyze.** ### Osvaldo Castillo, DPT ##### Doctor of Physical Therapy | Owner | Certified in Dry Needling Osvaldo Castillo is a dedicated physical therapist and the proud owner of his practice, where he combines clinical expertise with a personal passion for helping others recover, perform, and thrive. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education: Sports and Fitness, and went on to receive his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2021. Osvaldo’s journey into physical therapy began with his own story. A lifelong football player, he suffered an elbow injury that sidelined him during a pivotal district title run, a moment that left a lasting impact. Missing those games and feeling powerless to help his team sparked a calling: to support injured athletes and ensure no one else would have to feel that same helplessness. Since then, Osvaldo has committed his career to helping people of all ages and abilities return to the activities they love. He has worked across a wide range of physical therapy settings including sports therapy, outpatient clinics, inpatient rehab, home health, and pediatrics, giving him a well-rounded and comprehensive approach to orthopedic care. With firsthand experience as a collegiate athlete, Osvaldo understands the physical and mental demands of sports. He specializes in injury prevention and rehabilitation, particularly post-operative recovery from ACL reconstruction, labrum repairs, and ankle surgeries. He is certified in dry needling for both the upper and lower body, providing advanced techniques to help his patients recover more efficiently. Outside of the clinic, Osvaldo stays active by working out, playing flag football, golfing, and enjoying beach days. Above all, he values time with his family and embraces his favorite role, being a father.
